The following versions of mobile unit are available for CIP Unit LM-P

• Version 1 (with one tank);
• Version 2 (with two tanks).

Purpose of function

The CIP Unit LM-P is designed for internal sanitary treatment (with circulation of cleaning solution) of such technological equipment as: tanks (up to 2.0 cubic meters), production machines and pipelines (up to DN 40).

General construction features of the basic unit model CIP Unit LM-P

Factory assembled mobile CIP unit consists of:

• cylinder-shaped tank (with thermal insulation coat), conic bottom, manhole, level transmitters, electric heating elements – 2pcs*;
• centrifugal feeding pump;
• self-priming return pump;
• manual valves and shutters;
• temperature transmitter;
• margin level transmitter – 2 pcs.;
• control cabinet with monitoring and automatic control devices;
• pipeline couplings, fittings, valves
• mobile skid (on wheels).

Key technological functions

• the tank’s (tanks’) internal circuit is used for preparation of cleaning solution;
• cleaning solutions and sent to the object of cleaning, and after circulation in the loop during the preset period, the cleaning solutions return to the correspondent source tank;
• electric heating elements inside the tank heat-up the cleaning solution to the pre-set temperature;
• the necessary concentration of cleaning solution is obtained manually by dilution of concentrated chemicals with calculated volume of water and check-up of the results;
• chemical sanification is performed in the following way: cold water (municipal/tower) goes into the loop of cleaning object, sanification solution is diluted manually to a certain concentration; return pump and feeding pump ensure the circulation of sanification solution in the loop;
• cold water (municipal/tower) and hot water during steps of rinsing pass through the loop during a preset period of time and are drained into the sewage.

Note: concentration check-up of cleaning solution is done by lab analysis of the samples.

Key operational functions

Control functions:

• manual control of the pump (START/STOP buttons on the switch board;
• automatic stop of the pump by signal of low-level transmitter;
• automatic stop of the pump in case of overheating by automatic circuit-breaker of thermal motor protector.

Adjustment functions:

• automatic adjustment of the cleaning solution temperature during circulation, ensured by electric heating elements and thermostatic switch;
• operator can adjustment the flow rate with manual shutter.

Informative functions:

• runtime control at each step of the cleaning cycle;
• temperature control: of cleaning solution and of water;
• indication on pump functioning;
• signals of level-transmitters;
• indication on heating elements functioning;
• indication on power-supply to the main switch of the electric cabinet.

Required operational conditions

The CIP Unit LM-P should be installed in-doors, in heated production departments, with normal ambient temperature and humidity. Switch cabinet is made of carbon plain steel, ingress protection IP54.
