Purpose of function

Initial treatment of kegs (EURO/DIN standards) in order to have them ready for filling with sparkling or plain beverages, soft drinks, beer, kvass (mild rye beer), wine etc., functional capacity: up to 20 kegs/hour.

Unit configuration

The factory-assembled unit is mounted on a skid and comprises the following parts and blocks:

• working bench with pneumatic clampers for kegs fixing;
• a vat with heating elements: for lye cleaning solution;
• circulation pump;
• electric switch cabinet, with PLC (by “OVEN-K”), 4-line display (by “OVEN-K”), pneumatic devices and actuators (by “SMC”);
• temperature and level transmitters;
• pipe connections, with valves, couplings and fittings.

Operation cycle sequence

1. Rinsing with hot water;
2. Blowing-off with compressed air;
3. Cleaning with lye solution;
4. Blowing-off with compressed air;
5. Rinsing with hot water;
6. Flushing with cold water;
7. Sterilization with steam;
8. Blowing-off with CO₂;
9. Notching with CO₂.

Note: the operation cycle sequence can be modified at Customer’s request.

Standard delivery terms for Unit “KEG-Service 3T(M)”

Scope of services:

• Manufacturing and supply to the Customer’s address;
• Start-up and commissioning at the Customer’s site, with training course for the staff – by additional agreement with the Customer.

List of technical accompanying documents:

• Technical passport and manual;
• Declaration of correspondence to requirements of the Technical Regulations of the Customs Union (TRCU).

Manufacturing time (readiness for delivery) – up to 45 days

Guaranteed operating lifetime – 12 months.
