Purpose of function

Initial treatment of kegs (with flat fitting) in order to have them ready for filling with soft drinks, beer, kvass (mild rye beer), functional capacity: up to 40 kegs/hour.

Unit configuration

The factory-assembled unit is mounted on a skid and comprises the following parts and blocks:

• working bench with pneumatic clampers for kegs fixing;
• tanks with heating elements for lye and acid cleaning solutions;
• circulation pump;
• electric switch cabinet, with PLC (by “OVEN-K”), operator’s panel (by “Wintek”, Korea), pneumatic devices and actuators (by “SMC”);
• temperature and level transmitters;
• pipelines, connections, with valves, couplings and fittings.

Operation cycle sequence

1. Rinsing with hot water;
2. Blowing-off with compressed air;
3. Cleaning with lye solution (normal flow, flipping, counter flow with bubblering);
4. Blowing-off with compressed air;
5. Rinsing with hot water (normal flow, flipping, counter flow with bubblering);
6. Blowing-off with compressed air;
7. Cleaning with acid solution;
8. Blowing-off with compressed air;
9. Rinsing with hot water;
10. Blowing-off with compressed air;
11. Rinsing with cold water;
12. Sterilization with steam;
13. Blowing-off with CO₂;
14. Notching with CO₂.

Note: the operation cycle sequence can be modified at Customer’s request.

Scope of services:

• Manufacturing of the Unit;
• Start-up and commissioning at the Customer’s site, with training course for the staff – by additional agreement with the Customer.

• Technical passport and manual;
• Declaration of correspondence to requirements of the Technical Regulations of the Customs Union (TRCU).

Manufacturing time (readiness for delivery) – up to 60 days.

Guaranteed operating lifetime – 12 months.
